Angus Schools Concert at The Reid Hall
Skirdechal played at The Reid Hall Angus Schools Orchestras Concert on the 21st of November with some great guest dancers and a group of fabulous singers from Whitehouse Primary School.
Kirriemuir Folk Fest
Well done to our own Rachel Simpson, who won the J F Dickie Shield and the prize for best local fiddler at Kirriemuir Folk Festival!
Skirdechal hosted the Thrumbs Hotel Session and played at the Bowling Club and Airlie Arms Concerts - A great day all round!
Aberfeldy Mod
Lauren took 3rd place in the junior Slow Air & March and the Strathspey & Reel classes, Kit won the senior March, Strathspey & Reel, Dougie won the Gaelic Air, Strathspey and Reel...oh aye, and the band won the Fiddle Group class! What a day!

Angus Schools Concert at The Reid Hall
Skirdechal played at The Reid Hall on the 24th November alongside the Angus Schools Orchestras. Lots of great tunes heard & played plus an opportunity to recruit a few new members!
Spooktacular Hallowe'en Concert
Skirdechal played at Carlogie Primary on the 29th October alongside many talented young musicians from the area - some hauntingly good tunes were heard!
Airlie Arms Hotel Ceilidh
Skirdechal played at the Airlie Arms Hotel Ceilidh on th 5th September (part of The Kirriemuir Folk Festival 2015). An enthusiastic audience and a great night - well done Kirriemuir!
Thrums Hotel Session
Skirdechal were invited by the Kirriemuir Folk Festival to lead the Open Session at The Thrums on the 5th September - New friends and good music were made in equal measure!
